Morris 1300 Traveller - 31 May 2014
The cars of my childhood always attract me even if they really do look old these days. The Austin/Morris 1100/1300 is one of my favourites and there were four at the HMS Collingwood 2014 Open Day. The owner of this Morris 1300 MkIII Traveller was engaging and informative. JOT297L is, in fact, an automatic making it rare amongst survivors. The owner demonstrated the very simple but effective folding rear seat, an innovation decades before today's much trumpeted systems, which allowed the adventurous to sleep in the vehicle.
