In the hush beyond visible light, the infrared curled frond with each leaflet in perfect placement reveals a repeating cycle that had been taking place for 390 million years. In its infrared world, the fern is no longer just a plant but an intersection between the biological and mathematical with its repeating patterns and hypnotic spiral that invites the viewer to follow its curve to its exact center. It is a quiet architecture of light and time, holding within its delicate geometry the persistence of life as it gradually and patiently unfolds.

I am grateful to you for not drawing a parallel between the eloquence of the fern and any human process. Indeed, we still do not know how to imitate it (as far as I am aware).
