It reminds me of the square in front of Notre Dame Cathedral de Paris in the days before the monument reopened, where all sorts of people were present (including me).
Personally, I saw fewer smartphones than on your photo.
A beautiful creation, Edna, even if it represents a rather incompatible combination :-)

I can see why it does. I took one of the photos in front of the cathedral in Speyer.
The cathedral is at the beginning of Maximilian Street, that's the main street in the old city, and it's full of restaurants and cafés. So I'd say the combination isn't totally incompatible ;-))
