na ja, alles hat mal ein Ende: aber das geliebte Bier gibt's ja noch woanders :-))

Dass das bier noch weiterhin in Karlsruhe gebraut wird, ist die gute nachricht. Aber diese brauerei war ein wahrzeichen von Rastatt, mitten im stadtzentrum.
Aber wie du schon sagtest...alles hat ein ende, nur die wurst hat zwei ;-))

Decay, yes, after the brewery had closed down and moved to Karlsruhe. Now even the decay has disappeared and instead some ugly shoebox-like apartment buildings have appeared on that area.

Ja, wirklich. Das bier wird ja noch weiterhin in Karlsruhe gebaut, aber das brauereigebäude in Rastatt war historisch und mitten in der innenstadt :-) Da habe ich kindheitserinnerungen an bierdüfte, je nachdem in welchem brauprozess das bier sich gerade befand. Alles vorbei... :-(

Hauptsache es wird weiter gebraut.... ;-)

Great title!! I am pleased they are still brewing this beer elsewhere. I wonder if the brewery smells linger. If so they may be doing the tenants of the new shoe boxes a favour, - a good sniff of the air and they won't need as much beer!

LOL, I'm afraid the brewery smells just linger when there's a brewery around ;-) So the new tenants will have to go to the nearby supermarket and buy lots of beer. A great new business oppurtunity for the supermarket :-) So it's all good...in one way or another. It just depends how you look at it ;-)
