Art for arts sake

Very beautiful oil painting.

Thank you very much Don

Sincere thanks Güni glad you like my daubing for me it is relaxing and it is a bonus if anyone else likes what I do.
I see some paintings and just shake my head in disbelief, especially the prices they charge, I just give mine away to anyone who wants them.

Best wishes for a good evening

Da hast du sehr schöne Ansichten lieber James :))

Many thanks Jocelyne

This is absolutely wonderful James. I love the amazing shapes and colours..........I can't help but thinking of the pictures of Nudibranch, a type of sea slug, which also has amazing shapes and colours.

(Just Google Nudibranch and you'll see what I mean).

You are truly talented. What a great way to relax!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thanks for the info on the Nudibranch I looked it up and they are fascinating, I see another subject for a painting :-)

Sincere thanks for your kind comment and the gold stars.

My pleasure sir!

Great to see such work James. If this was from pure imagination then you deserve even more credit. I must admit that I never saw this as an oil painting but instead, a water colour. You remind me that I ought to see if my paints (including oils) still work. Very well done.

Best Wishes. Herb

My messing! Artist at work ?

Totally from imagination Herb although some of my paintings are inspired by the natural shapes in agate.
I just cannot paint with watercolours or acrylics they just don't work for me. Love your landscape painting I viewed it large :-)

Many thanks for the comment and best wishes to you
