The detail is just superb and I love the watch especially. The background (a slate?) is great and your lighting is spot on. The title is the icing on the cake, so to speak..!!

Thanks very much Keith, like you I like to use natural light whenever possible.
Indeed the background is a slate, it's some sort of Jamie Oliver food mat I got for 50p in the charity shop! As for the watch I used to collect pocket watches and you can buy these dirt cheap on line, around a couple of quid, they all come in handy for props!

I always try and use natural light if I can...........easier at this time of year of course. I also use charity shops a lot as a source of props.........and then donate them back after I'm finished.

A while ago I bought an old alarm clock and took it to pieces to photograph..........that was fun!
