Hi Stephan. Sadly, the observatory was closed to visitors. We did stay at the parador for the night and an astronomer from the observatory came and gave us an interesting talk and pointed out some of the stars and planets.

A great shot and full of interest scene John,. quite a complex load of tackle there,. we did Tiede in 1981 and there were no observatories on such a large spread back then,. Keep well youth,. and Cheers from Dj.

Ha' ha'.. we are on the Derbyshire (Eckington) border,. where we mostly greet with,. ''Ey' up me' duck'' and felt that 'duck' ... might be a bit too 'personally friendly' if you get my gist,. (˚◡˚)
