Eine spontane Ansammlung von Zäunen und Fotographen mit und ohne Schatten bei einem Foto-Walk in Hannover. Der Mensch trinkt nicht etwa aus einer Flasche, sondern hält eine Kamera schräg nach oben und fotografiert! HFF an alle! --- A spontaneous collection of fences and photographers with and without shadows at a photo walk in my hometown. The person is not drinking from a bottle, but holds a camera diagonally upwards and takes pictures! HFF to all!

Graphisch gestaltetes Brücken"geländer" im Museumsquartier in Wien neben einer Installation von Lois Weinberger, zu der das offizielle Verzeichnis der Kunstwerke im öffentl. Raum der Stadt Wien zu berichten weiß: "Die Werkidee geht zurück auf ein altes Pflanzenbuch, das über die enorme Samenproduktion des Bilsenkrauts berichtet: binnen fünf Jahren könne dieses Kraut leicht das gesamte Festland der Erde zudecken. Lois Weinberger begann daraufhin, das Wort Bilsenkraut zu konjugieren — also Ichkraut, Dukraut, Eskraut, Wirkraut und so weiter — und über das Blatt zu schreiben. Die jetzt gewählte Form in englischer Sprache reichert das Schillern der Wörter noch mit der Mehrfachbedeutung des Wortes „weed“ an, das „Jäten, Unkraut“ und „Marihuana“ bedeutet. In der Form der akkuraten Konjunktion liegt zudem ein Appell: Wer will, möge sich als Unkraut selbst ausmerzen." Letzteres werden wir nicht tun, sondern uns einen soliden HFF gönnen! :-) ### Graphically designed bridge "railing" in the Museumsquartier in Vienna next to an installation by Lois Weinberger, about which the official directory of Vienna's public artworks has to say: "The idea for the work goes back to an old plant book that reports on the enormous seed production of henbane: within five years, this herb could easily cover the entire mainland of the earth. Lois Weinberger then began to conjugate the word henbane - i.e. ichkraut, dukraut, eskraut, wirkraut (in German) and so on - and write about the leaf. The form now chosen in English further enriches the iridescence of the words with the multiple meanings of the word "weed", which means "weeding, weed" and "marijuana". In the form of the accurate conjunction, there is also an appeal: whoever wants to, may weed himself out as a weed." We will not do the latter, but have a solid HFF! :-)

Heute zeige ich euch mein "Zuhause": Eine Bäckerei mit kleinem Cafe im Stadtteil Linden in Hannover. Oft sitze ich hier bei Kaffee und Kuchen und überlege mir großartige Texte für meine ipernity-Bilder. ;-) HFF! ### Today I show you my "home": A bakery with a small cafe in the Linden district of Hannover. I often sit here with coffee and cake and think of great texts for my ipernity pictures.

Letzten Freitag/Samstag habe ich nach langer Pause wieder Bilder in ipernity gepostet und aus dem Anlass meine bisherigen Fotos durchgesehen und dabei festgestellt, unter welcher Bedrohung durch die "ANTIFA (ANTI Fence Army)" meine ersten HFF-Bilder entstanden sind. Einen Tag später radelte ich durch die südlichen Flussauen bei Hannover und musste feststellen, dass die Wiederaufnahme meiner HFF-Aktivitäten der ANTIFA nicht verborgen geblieben ist und sie mir eine deutliche Warnung geben. Aber davon lasse ich mich nicht schrecken, Happy Fence Friday bleibt! ------ Last Friday/Saturday I posted pictures in ipernity again after a long break and on the occasion I looked through my previous photos and realised under which threat by the "ANTIFA (ANTI Fence Army)" my first HFF pictures were taken. A day later I was cycling through the southern river meadows near Hannover and had to realise that the resumption of my HFF activities had not gone unnoticed by ANTIFA and that they were giving me a clear warning. But I won't let that scare me, Happy Fence Friday remains!

Beim "Klassik Open Air" in Hannover, das hinter dem "Neuen Rathaus" am Maschpark aufgeführt wird, waren plötzlich alle blau... ;-) Ein ziemlich aufwändig inszeniertes Event klassischer Musik, das vom NDR mit mehreren Kameras, Drohne und traditionellen "fliegenden" Kameras aufgenommen und auf große Flachbildschirme im Park übertragen wurde. Die Figuren unter der Kuppel in der Mitte sind das Orchester und die Sänger:innen, das Publikum sitzt mit Picknickdecke und Zubehör im Park, nur eine kleine Anzahl direkt vor der Bühne, die Karten dafür wurden verlost. # At the "Klassik Open Air" in Hanover, which is performed behind the "New Town Hall" at the Maschpark, suddenly everyone was blue... ;-) A rather elaborate event of classical music, recorded by a local TV station with several cameras, drone and traditional "flying" cameras and broadcast on large flat screens in the park. The figures under the dome in the middle are the orchestra and the singers, the audience sits in the park with picnic blankets and accessories, only a small number directly in front of the stage, the tickets for which were raffled.

Nach einer langen Pause seit Februar - genauer: seit dem Angriff auf die Ukraine - hier nun ein gemütlich-romantisches „Comeback“ mit zumindest einem kleinen Zaun. Er steht an dem Traditions-Gasthaus "Zur Alten Post" in Büsum an der Nordsee, die Szene erfreute mich durch die schönen Kontraste in Farbe und Form. HFF to everyone! # After a long break since February - more precisely: since the attack on Ukraine - here is a cozy and romantic "comeback" with at least a small fence. It stands at the traditional inn "Zur Alten Post" in Büsum on the North Sea, the scene pleased me with the beautiful contrasts in color and shape. HFF to everyone!

Modifikation des heutigen HFF-Fotos unHappy Fence Friday!

Liebe Fotofreunde, an diesem Freitag, einen Tag nach dem russischen - oder besser: Putins - Angriff auf die Ukraine, fällt es mir schwer, ein unschuldig nettes "Happy Fence Friday" Foto zu posten. Es ist vielleicht etwas unbeholfen, aber als Sinnbild dafür, dass die Achtung der Grenzen und Souveränität anderer Staaten die Grundlage des friedlichen Zusammenlebens auf der Erde ist, hier ein Foto vom Eingang eines Firmengeländes, das besagt, bis hierher und nicht weiter, hier darfst du nicht hinein, aber es gibt eine Tür, die wir für wohlgesonnene Leute öffnen. Das ist der Weg, den wir immer nehmen sollten, nicht den als unerwünschter Eindringling über den Zaun. Update 20:00 MEZ: Nach einer Solidaritätskundgebung für die Ukraine ist mir eine Modifikation des Bildes eingefallen, zu sehen per PiP auf dem gesamten Foto. #### Dear photo friends, on this Friday, one day after the Russian - or rather Putin's - attack on Ukraine, I find it hard to post an innocently nice "Happy Fence Friday" photo. It may be a bit awkward, but as a symbol that respect for the borders and sovereignty of other states is the foundation of peaceful coexistence on Earth, here's a photo of the entrance to a corporate compound that says, this far and no further, you're not allowed in here, but there's a door we open for well-meaning people. That is the way we should always take, not the way over the fence as an unwanted intruder. Update 20:00 CET: After a solidarity rally for Ukraine, I came up with an improvement of the image, to be seen via PiP on the whole photo.

Ein dokumentarisches Foto einer Ausstellung von dokumentarischen Fotos. Die Abschlussarbeiten des Studiengangs Fotojournalismus wurden präsentiert und die Ausstellung auf dem Gelände einer früheren Eisfabrik war so gut besucht, dass wegen der Corona-Regeln nur Besucher hinein konnten, wenn andere Besucher herausgingen. Beim Warten fällt dann das Geländer auf und dass Freitag ist und dass man noch ein Foto braucht... ;-) (IMG 2822-2) A documentary photo of an exhibition of documentary photos. The final projects of the photojournalism course were presented and the exhibition on the site of a former ice factory was so well attended that, because of the Corona rules, only visitors could enter when other visitors were leaving. While waiting, I noticed the railing and that it is Friday and that I still need a photo... ;-)

Heute den ersten Tag seit Wochen endlich mal länger an der frischen Luft auf dem Fahrrad unterwegs, das lädierte Ellenbogengelenk war einverstanden. Auf dem Schützenplatz ein Puppentheater mit Zelt, bunten Wagen und schön geschwungenen Zäunen für den HFF gefunden! Happy (New Years First) Bench Monday! Für mich leider ein unhappy Monday, das Bild zeigt den Garten - mit Bank in der Mitte - des Krankenhauses, in dem ich nach einem Sturz wenige Minuten nach dem Jahreswechsel liege. Ausgekugelter Ellenbogen, noch ist nicht klar, ob Bänder beschädigt sind und ggfs. OP nötig ist. For me unfortunately an unhappy Monday, the picture shows the garden - with a small bench in the middle - of the hospital where I am lying after a fall a few minutes after the turn of the year. Dislocated elbow, it is not yet clear whether ligaments are damaged and surgery may be necessary.

Wenn unser höchstes Gericht in Karlsruhe schon mal baut, dann muss auch der Zaun anspruchsvoll, in diesem Fall sogar ein Kunstobjekt sein. Woran man das erkennt?
