Cooked Pumpkin Ready to Mash

We were gifted with a couple of nice, small pumpkins from a friend's farm.

We will make pumpkin pie soon, but in the meantime, we had to at least prepare the pumpkin for pie-making. This was taken before I tried to mash the cooked pumpkin. No go. Later I had more success with the hand-blender.
