Golden Gate Bridge (H.A.N.W.E.)
Under the Golden Gate Bridge, as we sailed out. The wind was blowing very strongly. It was hard to hold the camera steady. End of a beautiful day in San Francisco.
Image processed with GIMP.
Some interesting points: this bridge was built during the Great Depression. They had to work in the fog-bound strait with huge winds like we experienced from the comfort of our ship. Until the pier bases were built (underwater, lots of divers used), there was no way to lay the foundation for further construction. You can just see the "fence" along both edges of the highway; they were added to help deter suicide jumpers.
For the Sunday Challenge, this should be both leading line and diagonal.
