Count Every Star (Tout Ca) UPDATE

UPDATE French mega-star Henri Salvador recorded "Tout Ca" (Bernard Michel - Bruno Coquatrix) as a B side in 1948. This is the artist who introduced rock and roll to France.

Bandleader, songwriter, actor and songwriter Ray Anthony (Antonini) and His Orchestra had the U.S. 1950 hit with "Count Every Star" (Bruno Coquatrix - Sammy Gallop) featuring Dick Noel (Luther Noel Pirtle) on vocal. The single peaked at number four on Billboard. As of this posting Ray is the last surviving member of the Glenn Miller Orchestra. Vocalist Dick Noel was known as "The King Of The Jingles" and is rumoured to have recorded over fifteen thousand including McDonalds and United Airlines.

In 1961 New York City doo-wop group Donnie (Louis Burgio) and The Dreamers (Andy Catalano, Frank Furstaci and Pete Vecchiarelli) version of "Count Every Star" reached number thirty-five. This was the band's first release.
