Nach ausgiebiger Begutachtung scheint sich unser Meisenpärchen nun entschlossen zu haben, in den Starenkasten zu ziehen. Bevor so ein Häuschen richtig gemütlich ist, sind aber noch einige Ausbauarbeiten notwendig. Mangels Lieferservice wird das Baumaterial selbst herangeschafft. Die 6 bis 12 Eier sollen schließlich warm und weich liegen. Im Hauptbild das Kohlmeisen-Weibchen. Beim Männchen (PiP 1) sind das schwarze Hals- und Brustband stärker ausgeprägt.
