Joking aside, this is an excellent capture. I'm pretty sure they're Stump Puffballs (they start of white then turn this colour before the top splits open to let out the spores)
When I looked it up I discovered that the genus name Lycoperdon literally means 'wolf's flatulence' Having never smelled wolf's flatulence I can't comment :-))
