A wall where,.. there seems to be,.... 'less of it' .....at each visit......
The "Stanage Chimney" a prominent feature of 'Stone Edge' in Derbyshire, a historic lead-smelting site constructed in 1770. It is the oldest free-standing industrial chimney in Britain, connected to an underground flue designed to provide a strong draught for smelting imported lead ore on the hilltop.
Other crumbling site remains can still be found around the chimney.

Yes that's true,.. in fact the chimney has been restored in recent years though - so alls' good so far,..
