Acropods - or Accropodes,..
'Acropods' are man made concrete structures of varying shapes and sizes which depend on it's need and application - the one seen here is around 3 metres in height and with 6 prongs designed to resist the action of waves on coastal structures, and used in conjunction with marine building projects.,. such as piers - docks and breakwaters.
