Between the road and the pond,. in the Derbyshire village of 'Monyash',. stands a very old dry stone wall - featuring a 'through stile' for which people can step over or through - but not animals.
In typical old village ways,. the lane around the pond,. is named ''Icky Picky lane''

Monyash - now that brings back some memories. Once - aged 13 I think, and with my French school exchange partner, we borrowed a map and walked their over the hills from Bakewell and back in time for tea! (We're still in touch btw!).
