Little I was around here during last months and year. When I had a look on ipernity again, I had to learn that Andy Rodker did die some days ago and Marta Wojtkowska passed away already nine month ago. With both of them I used to have good contacts over years, and in that moment in August, I lost two most beloved photographer-friends. The night after, I created the above picture. Finding my words took longer time.
Andy was an enthusiastic and gifted landscape photographer, Marta loved monochrome photography and enjoyed experimenting with pinhole shots.
In great appreciation, I dedicate this image to both of them.
Travelling down the Lawrence Valley, fertile and well cared for lands are all around.
The Laurentian mountains form the background scenery. They are among the oldest geological formations on earth.

Some last impressions of Quebec - outside of Ville Vieux. It is less influenced by tourism, but still old and beautiful, picturesque and fairly livley. And I am sure, you can guess, what here I liked most - aside lovely houses and blue skies ... ;-)
PiP1: Rue Sainte-Marie
PiP2: Rue Deligny/Rue Richelieu
Hard to believe to find in Old Quebec a lane like this in high season.
The PiP shows the oldest house of Québec City (1675): Restaurant Aux Anciens Canadiens
