"Something that does not fit" ("Etwas, das nicht passt")

Jedes Jahr beim Radolfzeller Hausherrenfest zieht dieser ungewöhnliche "Schneider" ("dressmaker"☺) mit einer zweckentfremdeten Nähmaschine verwunderte Blicke auf sich und erheitert die Besucher. Die Bezeichnung "Schneider" erhält somit direkt eine doppelte Bedeutung. ヅ

Ich denke, diese schöne alte Nähmaschine wird vermutlich nur noch für diese Arbeit verwendet bzw. zweckentfremdet werden, Dida. Mir scheint, der Rettichschneider gehört direkt schon zum Bestandteil unseres Stadtfestes. Ich sehe ihn dort schon viele Jahre sitzen.

Vermutlich wird die Nähmaschine nach dem Schneiden wieder ordentlich gesäubert und getrocknet, bis zum nächsten Einsatz im kommenden Jahr, Gudrun. Die geschnittenen Rettiche waren tatsächlich für den Verzehr gedacht und wurden dort als belegte Rettich-Butterbrote verkauft.

Ja, diese Idee ist wirklich sehr originell. Diesen Rettich-Schneider sieht man bei uns schon viele Jahre bei diesem alljährlichen Fest. Aber ich muß immer wieder schmunzeln, wenn ich ihn sehe. :)
