Mechelen railway station is getting a new Look in the next years. The beautiful original station will be renovated in the coming years, this clock on the outside is unfortunately going away...when I was on my way home, I came on foot in all kinds of weather from the center of Mechelen to Mechelen Station, this Belgian station clock is a real eye~catcher, it was the first thing I noticed, because I had to be on time to take the train from Mechelen to Brussels...it's almost 5 to 12:00

The station opened on 5 May 1835. The train services are operated by the National Railway Company of Belgium (NMBS/SNCB)

everytime I'm there I show a further step, this renovation is going to take a few more years Rosa, it's an important railway junction that continues to operate normally
