Yes it is ,Gudrun! Plenty of flowers on a glorious summer day...everything was inspiring there, the same interior of Monet's house and of course, the lily water pond...

Thank you very much Andy. Yes, I have many shots of the pond, but I prefer posting this part of the garden for the perspective and even because as you said the pond is iconic...no image could compete with its beauty, they all looked to me quite banal!

Qui ci troviamo di fronte ad una specie di "quadro vivente" e sono veramente ammirato e meravigliato per la cura e la conservazione di certi luoghi, che purtroppo non trova riscontro nel ns. paese.
Difficile, se non impossibile, competere con l'arte di Monet, come hai realisticamente detto Tu in una risposta, ma questa è una bella foto d'insieme, in cui il verde prevale, seppure punteggiato di tanti colori. Una bella sequenza di archi concentrici guida lo sguardo verso la villa, ben riparata ma, anche se sembra un particolare secondario, è efficace la presenza del cordone in primo piano che, insieme agli archi, crea l'effetto di un occhio gigantesco.
Oltre che essere stato immortalato dall'artista, questo luogo meraviglioso continua a sopravvivere !

Carissimo Fabio, nessuno scatto delle ninfee riusciva ad esprimere la bellezza e la suggestione del luogo...e quindi alla fine ho scelto questo "ingresso" perché rende al meno in parte giustizia alla quantità incredibile di fiori che circondano la casa . Una giornata di sole, afosa, piena di turisti...quasi impossibile evitarli e cercare un angolo che potesse esprimere almeno in parte il fascino del tutto.
