A very nice picture, and an interesting challenge.

Obviously I notice the fence had been painted!
I also saw that the blue and white direction sign on the roundabout had appeared!
(Maybe repair of a previous RTC?)

Very well spotted, the blue and white direction sign was out of shot in the original shot, you are spot on regarding the fence being painted and the other very obscure difference is that the latest shot was taken by a different camera :)))

To me, the other difference that seemed obvious was the lack of shadows, perhaps shot at a different time of day or with overcast weather.

You are quite right ~ However both shots were taken around 1500 to 1530hrs, The sun was hiding behind thin cloud in this shot.

certainly a huge style difference between the wood and the steel which is colour but I would say safer the white next to the road rather than red, HFF you stay safe as you enjoy the weekend.
