Ballachulish Bridge

My dear Peter,

Ah it was a wonderful day! After Glenfinnan viaduct we had gone to see the Stalker castle... And this beautiful bridge was just on our way... I have some similar pictures but we match the different bridges from same day this time!

Nice capture. The bridge replaced the ferry in 1975 but sadly the railway to Ballachulish had already closed in 1966.

A bridge that I have crossed many times now and like you even taken photos at its head but for me it was from the B863 side. Looks like you had some poor weather here for picture taking. We had a week at the Onich CC site in our tourer. Thanks for sharing.
