Let me try to explain...
This is a model village, and this part of the model represents Godshill.
Hence the real church is in the background, and the model of it is just bellow half way up. BUT...
To model Godshill properly, you must model the model village, So, the white houses bottom right have a model of the model church in front of them!!
Maybe you went there too, but didn't notice!
