I am pleased that you like the picture. Wernigerode is in the Harz mountains. (Look where I mapped it). It has a steam railway and a castle!

Thank you so much for your kind words here. It was a Christmas market, which seems more like a reason to go out and buy food & drinks, rather than gifts. A lot going on, and everyone in festive spirits!
