There were a good many of this type pull-over for vehicles to get out of the way for those behind to get on with there drive. AND a good opportunity to jump out for a photo. this shot made from our car, as we did not pull over....its along the Cade's Cove car tour , witch is an 11 mile drive.

Hey dear Steve, Yes taken from the car and that seems to be obvious, not sure what that is at the lower section of the shot..... this road is such a great ride thru this area. so much to see.

HFF Sarah. A fine shot with the autumn colours and winding road. It reminds me of the single track roads in the Highlands of Scotland, they have similar passing places.

Hello Peter, yes we really enjoyed this drive thru the area on these winding roads, single lane of course.... I hope you were here Peter at some point. Lovely place. the colors this time when there were perfectly gorgeous.
