Hey Fusun, YES lots of fences indeed to choose a favorite:))) its a really nice , relaxing place and can even tour that old building you see there, where in olden times they ground corn to make
meal.. one brand was called Watson Meal...because that was the family name of the owner of this property back many years ago. have a great weekend dear Fusun!

YES Peter, this is a great place for a fun weekend, (or DAYS) if you choose. yes the old Mill there ground corn into meal. I never saw that happening however, I was too young, maybe not born, but the name associated with it back then (Watson's Pond) was a far distant relative to my husband. enjoy your Sunday Peter. Hello Nouchetdu, yes these Cyprus trees are certainly a point of interest here at the George L. Smith State Park, if you look close, you see the bottom of each one at the water line the trees are bigger around, those sections of each tree is called a "Cyprus knee".... I may post another shot of this lake that will show more of these trees. thanks Nouchetdu.... Sarah
