The granite mountain of La Sierra de La Cabrera. Viewed from the upper slopes of El Cancho Gordo, along the ridge to El Pico de La Miel at the far end.
A little cropping and that was it. No other editing needed in this excellent December light!

Granite scenery. The three peaks L to R of El Cancho Largo, El Cancho Gordo and El Cancho de La Bola. As you all know by now, this is my all-time favourite walking area, with the sea cliffs and coastal paths in Cornwall a very close second!

Pedraza door knocker
This reminds me of Carmen T (from Zaragoza) and her great knockers, on Pano. I wonder where she is now? Probably Flickr but does anyone know?
NEWSFLASH! Well, I am delighted that Carmen is here again!! I dedicate this to her of course!

An all time favourite (in my top 10!).
North Cliffs, Cornwall on a lovely day.
Shot taken in 2012. Today it would not be possible as this section of coast just here in front of me has crumbled into the sea.

It was fun climbing through the fog not knowing if I would emerge from under it! Fortunately I did. And fortunately by this time I was familiar enough with the paths not to be worried about going astray in the mirk!

The old Southwest Peninsula Coast path went this way but it was a touch too strenuous and steep so it was re-routed up above on the flat and, frankly, boring path.
I enjoy following the original path here.
