Sierra de La Cabrera
View from Cancho Gordo, to the Bustarviejo Valley and (from L to R) on the horizon, the rocky extravaganza of La Pedriza, Bola del Mondo and Peñalara, the highest peak in the Sierra de Guadarrama. The mountain goat shots posted a few weeks ago were taken just round the corner to the right but I couldn't quite get them in shot from these rocks.

Excellent work!
Andy Rodker club has replied to Keith Burton clubGreat landscape, and admiration for getting up there in the intense heat (with no streams for water).
Earns a star from me!
Best Wishes
Peter
Andy Rodker club has replied to Peter_Private_Box clubMay is normally a good month for the mountains! I wouldn't even think of it later this week with temperatures forecast at 44c!
Tonight is the last night I can open the windows and let in some relatively cool air. As from tomorrow it will be furnace city, day and night, with battened down hatches / shutters!
I don't mind the days as they are a dry heat but 30C at night coolest is not fun in anyone's book!
Best wishes,
Andy
