Wow are those really sharks out there? I had heard there were some basking sharks around the West Country.

Of course not, Jenny!!!
But we used to make a point of going to various headllands where there had been sightings; a favourite was near Cadgwith on the Lizard where we used to watch families of basking sharks slowly move their way along the coast, usually in June.
On a sunny and calm day with clear water, they are a magnificent sight.
