Plaza del Cordon and Puzzle!

Plaza del Cordon and Puzzle!
In old Madrid. I know the Spanish flag of course - and there have been a lot on display since the Catalunyan goings-on but the other flag? Puzzle! What is the 'other' flag?????

Jim Kerslake, micritter, , Nouchetdu38 and 11 other people have particularly liked this photo

That is a tough one! I tried to search for that other flag, but nothing so far. But I will keep on trying! Maybe it is just a typical towel decoration... =)

Possibly! Or table cloths for small tables ... but towels is a plausible answer.
This housed an academy I used to work for. I didn't know they had moved so when i passed by yesterday to say hello, I found they had gone! It doesn't look like a hotel or pension or I might have suggested towels or small carpets.
No, I really have no idea!

Not very official flags anyway. I used World Flag Database, and no hits whatsoever:
www.flags.net

So, most likely only decoration, as Raingirl suggested =)

Yes, and we may never know the answer unless I stir my stumps and go back there and ask them (unlikely)!
My guess is that they are simply airing towels or small carpets on the first sunny, rain-free day for months!

Definitely a puzzle! I too have been searching the interweb, but with no joy!

An interesting image though.

No idea, is it ecclesiastical? After all it's semana santa!

That's a possibility but I don't think this building is used for ecclesiastical purposes. Until a couple of years ago it housed the academy i initially worked for here in Madrid
