Snowberries

Snowberries
Snowberry is common plant here in the Pacific Northwest. I have to keep them cut back around the edges of our property. Both flowers and berries, however, are beautiful and worth a photo. This photo was taken on a hike at Newman Lake, Washington, with family members.

WOWY ZOWY HOLY COWY Ron!!! What the heck!! Where on earth did you find such an amazing clump of snowberries!!! I've seen them in singles and groups of 2-5 or so, but this is RIDICULOUS!! On top of that, they are absolutely pristine! AND would you just look at how they are all tightly packed together? DUDE, THAT'S ROCKIN AWESOME!!! :D Heh...the one at the top is like, "HEEYYYYYYyyyyYYYYY...WHAT ABOUT MEEEEE???!!!!" LOL, really a totally fabulous picture and from my experience, quite unique and special.

Your inset ALSO amazes me. Again...WHAT THE HECK, RON!! What did you do, FERTILIZE THEM? I mean seriously! I've seen nice clumpings of these berries but NOTHING like this! And I've seen my share of snowberries too! But perhaps these are all getting what they want from the soil and so are producing magnificently. *shakes head* I'm amazed.

We have snowberries growing down by our gate and you know, I think I can explain why I don't see these berries in large numbers...animals probably eat them all...or most? You remind me of all of the snowberries I saw on our trip this year. I got a bunch of pictures too, some of which are processed whenever I get around to posting them. Nothing like yours though! :D
