Lough Doo

Lough Doo is on the heights of Fair Head in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The whole area is private land but the owners provide parking and free access to the area for hikers and climbers. We hiked around Fair Head the last day of our stay on the north coast of Northern Ireland.

I wanted to learn about that name so I looked it up! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doo_Lough_(Mayo)
It actually means "Black Lake" which sounds ever so much better than "Laughing Doo Doo"! :D
What a wonderful time you must have had here. The view is totally spectacular. And once again, isn't it fantastic that you're able to enter this private property to enjoy this gorgeous lake and environs! Love your composition too, by the way. The inset with its silvery-surfaced lake accented by boulders is fabulous too. Envy, thy name is ME! :)
Yay! You found one of my Harry & David albums! Those pictures are such a wonderful tribute to roses and other flowers. Roses are just so easy to get marvelous images of but it's extra nice when you get to see unusual colors and combinations. I'm delighted that you've enjoyed looking at my images. :)
Regarding your forlorn feelings of wanting flowers to photograph at this time of year...reminds me of our wonderful stays at LaPine this year. What a fantastic place, but...after spring has departed, the high desert just doesn't have a lot of flowers to capture. That's just the way it is...but at least I don't live there...I would feel exactly like you do, I'm sure. I felt a bit bored photographically when I was thinking about macro but for regular pictures the Deschutes River was a boon, as were the darling chippers and such.
Boy, sounds like a big projects with the cabinets...it will be nice to have Ed's help. Along with your other bathroom projects, I'm really impressed-you're so industrious! I'm sure it will all turn out super too!
Ok, off I go! :) Thanks for the positive feedback on my pictures! :)
