Blue and yellow make green. I wonder what yellow substance the tourists are depositing. It seems like a YMCA pool. :)

The stuff thrown in doesn't color the water but clogs the vent, lowers the temperature and changes the color - the different color algae prefer water at different temperatures. The blue pools are the highest temperatures.
