Color-break Tulip

Color-break Tulip
If I am not mistaken, these color breaks are caused by a virus, but they produce some very unusual flowers. This was photographed at Roozengaaarde's Bulb Gardens in the Skagit Valley of northwest Washington at the time of the annual tulip festival.

Could be a virus, but could also be cross pollination or just plain genetic anomaly -- with most Tulips now being hybridized to Hades and back.... If the foliage is variegated or has white or yellow edges, then it's definitely a virus.... Nice find! Gorgeous Tulips =) Beautiful capture!
