Male and Female Common Rose Butterflies (Atrophaneura aristolochiae)

In Explore December 6, 2009, #220.
Photographed at the Devonian Botanic Gardens, Devon, Alberta. These botanical gardens are an extension of the University of Alberta. The butterflies were above my head and I had to hold the camera above my head and hope I was pointing in the right direction. This is one of the few shots that turned out.
