Glasshouse and Sun

This is where we went today to celebrate our anniversary, Chihuly Garden and Glass, a long-term exhibition by artist Dale Chihuly at the Seattle Center and in the shadow of the Space Needle. It is a must-see for anyone visiting Seattle and both the indoor exhibits and the outdoor garden were beyond description. This photo shows the centerpiece of the exhibition, the Glasshouse with its hanging sculptures and the outdoor piece simply named "Sun." We spent five hours at the exhibit and could have spent many more, in fact, would have liked to have seen the outdoor exhibits at night when lighted. We took hundreds of pictures (picture taking is encouraged by the exhibition) and it was hard to decide which picture to post.
