Kunstkaten

Sowohl im Kunstmuseum als auch im Kunstkaten von Ahrenshoop sind z.Zt. Ausstellungen über die "Künstlerkolonie Nidden" zu sehen. Künstler gab es dort auf der kurischen Nehrung im heutigen Nida (Litauen) bis zum Ende des 2. Weltkrieges. Der im "Fischlandstil" errichtete Ahrenshooper Kunstkaten mit seinem Rohrdach wurde 1909 feierlich eröffnet.
