The best wishes for a nice and sunny weekend - and naturally for peace !
Eine der Sehenswürdigkeiten der brandenburgischen Kleinstadt Angermünde ist dieses Industriedenkmal.
1860 entstand auf dem Gelände eine Brauerei. Das Foto zeigt den 1899/1900 in Auftrag gegebenen Bau einer Mälzerei. Nach Aufgabe des Betriebs stand das Gebäude leer. 2005 wurde es unter Denkmalgesichtspunkten saniert und beherbergt heute Wohnungen und Gewerberäume. Weitere Informationen sind auf der Tafel im PiP enthalten (better see large). Wenn man das PiP anklickt und vergrößert (optimal sogar dreifach), kann man die Schrift gut lesen.

An attractive and well composed image Percy. The building is very interesting and it is good that it is again in use instead of being abandoned. Warehouse apartments are still quite sought after I gather. I wonder if the tenants give thought to the origins of the building when they are relaxing with a few drinks!
