- Zur Historie der Frankfurter Paulskirche s. vorhergehendes Foto -
Nach der Zerstörung im 2. Weltkrieg wurde die Kirche 1947/48 bis auf das Kegeldach wiederaufgebaut.
Im Inneren entstand anstelle des früheren Kirchenraums eine niedrige Wandelhalle mit darüberliegendem Versammlungsraum und Plenarsaal-Bestuhlung.

Ich habe bewusst noch nie ein Bild von der Paulskirche gesehen, Percy. So nüchtern habe ich sie mir nicht vorgestellt. Bist du "erleuchtet" wieder aus der Kirche gekommen ;-)))?

Naja... das Foto ist gelungen, doch der Innenraum ist bei weitem nicht das,
was er mal war.... und das sollte dem Bund es wert sein, diesem Denkmal
das zu geben, was es schon lange verdient hat... sein altes aussehen.

photo étonnante de cette église très dépouillée. Mais est-ce une église dédiée au culte catholique , ou un temple protestant ( luthérien ) ? si c 'est un temple protestant le dépouillement de la décoration est normal....
