I haven't been able to drink since I almost died a few years ago.

I see you like yours black. Me too and without sugar. Cafe solo is my drug of choice. Too many cups a day. But I see reports about how beneficial 4, 5, 6, cups of coffee can be ... and I blank out the equally copious reports about how you can safely consume no more than one cup (or none) a day. These things take on a Nero-fiddling-while-Rome-burns during Covid-19 for a diabetes sufferer and cancer patient but it's all mind games at the moment. So far I'm not doing too badly!

Thank you! This is before I put the milk in. I like it fully doctored up with one sugar and a splash of milk. Like you, I've stopped paying attention to how unhealthy caffeine might be. I don't really care! You have a good point, dietary fussiness (unless necessary) seems slightly irrelevant with Covid going on. I find myself eating a lot more and wanting to cook things I haven't made in years. Clam chowder is one, which I'll do when I can go shopping. Andy, I'm glad you're "not doing too badly!" Except for whacking my shin on sharp metal a few days ago, leaving a substantial wound, I'm not doing too badly, either.
