Poudre Parfumée

Poudre Parfumée
The scent is called Paris. I bought it there, but only my granddaughter uses it, now. I's just not my scent anymore.

I had been in his Majorel Garden in Marrakesh, Morocco. Really beautiful! I had some pic in Panoramio, but they are gone now ...

Wow, it's dreamy! Marrakesh was such a magnet for creative types in the "old days." Maybe not quite as much now...I don't hear about it anymore.

SO expensive because of no in-built obsolence.
I know this because a grateful client (a commercial photographer specialising in cosmetics - glossy magazines and their dazzling / sparkling perfume-bottle ads, that sort of thing) gave me a bottle of Bulgari aftershave in 1986. I hardly used it and forgot all about it but it ended up in my flat in Spain somehow where my girlfriend found it 30 years later, insisted I wear it and declared that it was 100% perfect! Apparently it was and is very expensive, and obviously long-lasting. I still have 75% of the bottle left!

Oh yes, Bulgari is top-of-the-line for men and women. I have a slight obsession with fragrances, though I own only one expensive bottle at a time. (Currently an Annick Goutal.) I also collect many perfume oils, which are a different category, and used to mix them myself when I managed a store in California. That was in the 1990s.
