Pickleball

Pickleball
I had never heard of this game, but it's been played since the early 1970s. It has an avid following and there are national tournaments. It's especially loved by former tennis players who, due to age and injuries, find pickleball much easier on the joints. Here is the quaint story of how it was invented and how it grew: www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kPJDi4LF1o

Pano ☼ Rapi ♫✯♫, Beatrice Degan(MARS) have particularly liked this photo

Hahaha - I am NOT a former tennis player, but am definitely aged! That is so interesting - it's even played in Italy! Amazing how this humble game has spread. Best wishes to you for a fabulous weekend, Bea!

Isn't this funny! We're all saying "who knew?" It's amazing how this started during family vacations on an island in Washington state. ;-)

Tennis was agony for my knees even in high school, so I've never played it since then! Yes, it seems a lot of us have back problems...does that mean we're old? ;-o
