The fasteners have bolted.

They'd better be in a box, somewhere! This is an antenna tower, or something similar. My dad built hundreds of these around the world in his heyday and he would talk about missing parts, always someplace remote, like the Congo. That used to drive him crazy!

I recognised it immediately. It's a pleasant surprise that you have a little familiarity with the joys of building radio things on remote hilltops when a warehouse person has failed to include something or a light-fingered local has had a greater need for an item than the constructor. Not that I've worked in a third world setting. There were times in remote inland places here in Australia where a missing simple hardware item could cost a day and a specialised part could take a week to arrive.

Oh, and I'm glad you understood what I was talking about! Dad's career revolved around those kinds of hassles, and so we all heard about them all of the time! He actually missed spending some Christmases and other events with us, because he had to wait (and wait) for missing, or correct, parts to be shipped from the US. Sometimes that took a couple of months. If ever there was a person who loathed waiting because of other people's mistakes, it was Dad - lol! You might be shocked by how much antenna-building lingo I know - not that I can exactly define the terms.

I was going to say that they need a good screw then realised that that they don't.
