Conveys a sense of community verging on abandonment...

Don, you've described this town and also made me chuckle. However, this little shopping center was almost completely vacant and suddenly came alive in the last few months with new businesses. I'm shocked. The only abandoned building now is in the foreground.

Hopefully I'm wrong, but sometimes revived shopping centers here are due a drug treatment program having started up in one of the old storefronts :)

Interesting...we need more of those! For some reason, there has been a little surge of new retail businesses around town.

I hade to google "Juggernaut". There even exists a US movie with this title. First I thought it's the Oregon's version of an astronaut ;-)
