Mom and Jambo

I confess, I didn't tell her! She has Alzheimer's and anything new just throws her for a loop. If I told her, she would obsess over it everyday and keep being upset to hear he was gone. The weird thing is, she had forgotten about him for about a year, but when he started getting sick, she began asking about him again. Now she asks about him every time I see her. So, I lie, "He's fine! Yes, he likes to go outside and play!" :-(
