J'ai cru vivre un cauchemar quand j'ai vu que Trump était élu aux USA. Quelque temps avant j'avais vécu le même cauchemar lorsque j'ai vu que les Anglais avaient voté le brexit. Mais dans quel monde vit -on ? Nous avons des élections bientôt ici en France. Mes compatriotes seront-ils aussi inconséquents ? Nous voyons à la TV ces gens qui manifestent aux USA. Tout ce que nous avons pu lire et écouter en France, concernant le résultat de cette élection Américaine, rejoint ce que vous dites. Si seulement celà pouvait faire réfléchir les gens qui pensent voter Le Pen ici. Vu de chez nous, l'élection de Trump était impensable. Pour beaucoup, celle de Le pen est possible. Personnellement, je ne le pense pas. Il y a beaucoup de chances qu'elle soit en tête du 1er tour mais c'est peu probable au 2eme tours. Hélas, la campagne électorale a pris un aspect étrange. Il se passe des choses étranges presque chaque jour. Mais j'ai confiance. Sinon , il ne me restera qu'à m'exiler au fond de la grotte de Lascaux (ou dans les forêts de l'Oregon) Merci de penser à nous Diane, mais nous pensons aussi beaucoup à vous. Our Village Idiot makes an absurd crisis for himself every few days. If there is a real international crisis, god help us! More and more people are unhappy with him every day, even many who voted for him, so we shall see what happens...

Peggy, I have your exact attitude. As time goes on (and yes, it does feel like years instead of weeks!), I feel more defiant and after all, every couple of days there is new evidence of his incompetence. Well, worse than incompetence, but I'll leave it at that.

Yep, all it will take is time...the time it takes for the FBI/CIA to finish their investigation of his love affair with Putin.

Am willing to give anyone the 'benefit of the doubt', but they must be honest and not lie. Telling lies just is not something I can deal with --
Am feeling better about both sides of the aisle now --- much better -- it takes awhile for some to realize t is not who he says he is .. for the American People ?
