There's more extraneous stuff on this car than I've ever seen. Notice the "beehive" - in this case, hornet's nest - motif all over the place. I said in another forum that I suspect Mamie Eisenhower was on the design committee.

It definitely looks like a way overdone Chevy. The '57 Hornet is even more so! When I looked at photos online I thought of an over-bejeweled, older lady who plays a lot of bridge. She also drinks a lot of these: www.mhodistributors.com/wakefield-palm-garden.jpg
