Yes it is - I labeled it '62 because there's almost no difference in appearance (that I can see). I remember how weird this concept seemed at the time - 1/2 car 1/2 truck. Thanks, Clint!

You're right, there's no real difference between a '62 and '63 except, if I remember right, a particular side decoration that fell of this a long time ago. It could be either.

I always wondered how the Chevy's El Camino managed to last so long while the Ranchero died out.

I didn't know that. Funny, my car-CRAZY grandson and I had a conversation today about El Caminos vs. Rancheros. I should say, he talked about them and I listened. He seems to be a centrist in the Chevy vs. Ford camps.
