For the 10 Week Picture Project: TREES Week 5: Tree Bark Birch trees are my favorite.

Sunday Challenge No.09 „gadgets ie: appliance, apparatus, instrument, implement, tool, utensil, contrivance, contraption, machine, mechanism, device, labor-saving device, convenience, invention; informal gizmo, widget. Process however you like. Try and make this at least a bit difficult if you will, choose processing you never would have, ladies get a gadget from hubby... hubby get into the kitchen-laundry room, whatever, and find something interesting in all those drawers! These are just suggestions, not necessary.“ A simple theme, which was difficult for me. In "gadgets" I think instinctively of gears. But I do not wanted to take apart a clock. Next, I remembered the egg shell breaking machine (in German „Eierschalensollbruchstellenverursacher“). Something I don´t have, because you just do not need it. Then it should be something that yourself do not often use. Of this I have a whole kitchen full, because I never cook. The photo of the garlic press, however, was incredibly boring. So I made the decision for the scissors. I first had a red pair of scissors, then there were two and now there are four. The miraculous multiplication scissors probably stems from the fact that I plug red scissors if they stay here, because I think it is mine. (If you have missed a red scissors so I probably have it ...) I wanted to order the scissors nice and then be sure to use a sewing pattern as a texture. Unfortunately I do not own sewing patterns and images on the internet I did not want to steal. And Stock Photos are soooo expensive. So I chose to compromise and made a second photo of my paper cutter and placed it under it. Here I have worked with layer masks in Photoshop, which I have not done often. The Sunday Challenge is always so much fun, thank you, dear friends, that I can be there!

Fenced and totally unaware of the carnival crowds. I´m escaping the carnival largely by babysitting. Therefore, I do not know if I can post a photo every day. I hope at all I take a photo every day... We will see.

Last day of freetime and babysitting. Back to normal work tomorrow.

The theme of the week is "back to the past". I found these two old dusty bottles in the cupboards of the lab.

For the issue of the tree project this week I have to use a photo from last autumn fall, because there are no leaves now and certainly no colorful ones.

I'm not a fan of conifers. But as a driveway to my property as I have found it here in Tuscany ... I'd like that.

I've been working late tonight, but I got a rainbow on the way home. (The hills you can see on the horizon belong to the Siebengebirge.)

This morning the most beautiful ice-flowers were on my car. Unfortunately, it was too dark to take pictures. They say the eyes are the windows to the soul. What do you think?

For the Sunday Challenge. trees hows this for easy, after the week of panning and trips to and from Urkville from almost every single one of us! Process however the heck you like or don't like, some of you can have trees with flowers while some of us will have trees with snow. big, small, dead, alive... get right up there and show us your trees. I really don't want to see any type of architecture or street view with a tree way off at the end please. Now I realize some man~made crap will get in the way, that is just life in this world. Get in close(ish) (this is not a macro challenge) and personal and show us those wonderful curvy lines. It was difficult to find a tree without human stuff around!

For the 10 Week Picture Project: TREES Week 9: Deciduous Tree

I like HDR images if they are not too extreme, and if the processing suited to the scene. I especially like HDR images of abandoned places, automobiles, machinery, street art and similar things. I have decided for today's Sunday Challenge for an older image, in which the HDR processing is very strong. I can understand that for someone this processing is too crass. It shows an old abandoned laundry near Bonn. Original is in the box.

10 week picture project: TREES week 10: flowering or fruiting trees

Leading lines is the sunday challenge today. Rails occurred to me as the first. Then I thought about these luminous leading lines. I have always wanted to try.

Since my godson's birthday today, I went to my hometown. There are many beautiful old houses with beautiful doors. The theme of today's Sunday Challenge. But I am unhappy with it, just getting the lines. I need to practice more.I tried to put the picture straight and I have reduced saturation.
