what is it about pathways to light that are so appealing? i approve of your choice (ha! not that you needed/wanted my approval). i really like your choice of depth of field for this. some might have made the bright area the focus point, but this places one right there on the path yearning for the light.

so what is your "rule" exactly? do you take as many photos as you want but then only post one for each day? do they have to be taken that day? or do you only allow yourself to take a single photo a day (oh that would be challenging for sure!!)? if you take multiple photos, what do you do with the others? do you have them stored by day somewhere? would you ever go back and choose a different one from a day? I'm so curious about your "rule"!! what prompted it? it feel like a great one in the digital age. i was just wishing fro the delight of anticipation recently. having to wait for a roll of film to get developed, even if one did it oneself in a single day - there was a period of delightful anticipation.

Danke für Deinen ausführlichen Kommentar! Es ist ein 366-Tage-Projekt. Ich mache jeden Tag Fotos und suche mir dann daraus genau ein Foto des Tages heraus. Manchmal fällt die Entscheidung schwer, weil mir mehrere gut gefallen, machmal gefällt mir keines und ich "muss" mich trotzdem für eines entscheiden.
Die Idee jeden Tag genau ein Foto zu machen ist herausfordernd, wäre für mich aber nicht durchzuhalten. Es wäre zu schade, um die schönen Motive, die ich dann nicht festhalten könnte ...

ah, okay. thanks for letting me know. and, well, i'm impressed that you are taking photographs every day at all! i am way to scattered and go back and forth on how much i'm photographing. i lasted about 4 days when i tried to do a 366 day project - ha!

Perfect DofF for this shady path leading into sunlight. I like the frame of the foreground leaves. I have exactly the same problem choosing my photo of the day. Sometimes I go back another day to re-photograph something I liked but didn't use. It's interesting how nothing looks the same twice. Sometimes not so good, sometimes better.
